Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) is a public technical university associated with Bidhannagar (Salt Lake), Kolkata, established in 2001. Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, it offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering, management, and science through its departments and numerous affiliated colleges.
